Into the River
The intention for Into the River is to explore creative practices that support our sense of embodied inspiration, connection and Aliveness..
…To find places and spaces within that help us move through life more fluidly and freely.
Nature shows us that nothing is designed to remain stagnant…
Life is meant to move, pause, shift, shrink, expand, rise, fall, collapse and reform again…
And so we turn to the River.
Perhaps for inspiration during times of lethargy
Perhaps for guidance during times of uncertainty
Perhaps to learn from the Wild Ways
Of being unashamed, untamed, untethered and undeniably Alive.
The River runs without knowing what is beyond the bend. The River runs without planning how to navigate around the rocks or how to surrender to the gravity of the waterfall.
Unlike the River, it seems that for many of us, the weight of the Unknown can feel overwhelmingly heavy.
How can we trust these moments of uncertainty and move through the Unknown as freely as the River does?
Where is our gratitude when nothing seems to be flowing?
Where is our joy when all seems to be collapsing?
Where is our peace when our greatest fears are upon us?
How can we connect with a true sense of inspiration during times of doubt?
Creativity
Creativity opens pathways of infinite possibilities.
The more rooted we are in any creative practice, the more rooted we are in a reality where there is no wrong step, instead only avenues for exploration and discovery.
We gather once a week to explore with curiosity and perhaps to discover. We gather to simply show up and spend time at the doorway where the River meets this moment.
On a light note, this can be a fun way to get the creative juices flowing.
On a deeper note, this is an opportunity to allow the inspiration of life to come bursting through your being ~ and open everything.
