Welcome, Brother!
I’m happy that something has called you here. Maybe it is your curiosity in Peru, in the Sacred Valley or Salkantay? Maybe it is a call to brotherhood, or a call for inner transformation? Perhaps a call to share the journey with a loved one in Sacred Woman School?
Regardless of what brought you here, this will be an unbelievably humbling, empowering and epic immersion and initiation in the Andes mountains; the tallest mountain range in the world, behind the Himalayas.
This trip is not simply designed for hiking, for sight-seeing or for an exotic retreat experience. This is an invitation to lock arms in sacred brotherhood; to learn with and from each other, to be vulnerable together and walk through the fire of transformation together.
We will be on this epic adventure in conjunction with our sisters in Sacred Woman School. For the first 4 days, they will be based at Munay Sunqo (retreat center in the sacred valley), immersed in their “New Earth Medicine Woman Training” program. While we will be based at Munay Sonqo as well, we will be on our own off-the-beaten-track hikes during these first few days. Throughout the week we will have opportunities to join with our sisters around the fire, for music and for Despacho ceremony with the Q’ero Shamans, before coming together for our joined Salkantay trek. The readiness to embody Sacred Masculine role on this trek will be essential to maintain balance and harmony in these mountains and as a group.
